The Old Bennan Smiddy sits in its own private enclosed garden high above Bennan Head with panoramic sea views of Ailsa Craig and Pladda, on a clear day you can see Ireland. Beside the road between the villages of Kildonan and Kilmory with their beautiful sandy beaches at the South end of Arran. Dine in the large conservatory as you enjoy stunning sunsets over the Mull of Kintyre.
The Old Smiddy Bennan has been totally restored and sympathetically modernised by craftsmen and has retained a wealth of character. Solid wood has been used throughout.

The bespoke kitchen has been beautifully crafted with black granite worktops and chrome fittings. It comes complete with an electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer and a small table and chairs.
The snug is a cosy area for relaxing in and has a gas stove, TV with freeview, VHS player and looks out over the sea views. There are 2 small steps down into the snug.
Mezzanine Gallery + Bedroom
Above the snug is a mezzanine gallery with a recessed double bed from which you can enjoy the sea views.
The large conservatory has plenty of comfy sofas to enjoy the panoramic views from and doors leading out to the front and side of the property. There is also a TV, DVD player and a dining table with 4 chairs, making this a great place for families to dine together.
The downstairs double bedroom has substantial fitted wardrobes and the luxury bedding completes this lovely room.
The bathroom has a roll top bath, wet room shower, toilet, whb and heated towel rail.
The Smiddy is a part of a smallholding and as such the proprietor will be onsite 2-3 days per week maintaining grounds and checking livestock.
